You're being selfish. There's lot of other stuff to watch on Netflix, you don't have to watch any of the Marvel shows they propose, so why not let others enjoy them ? It's what I do for the shows I'm not interested in.

It is arguably not very generous in spirit for OP to be glad that Marvel shows are leaving Netflix, but it's not up to OP or anyone here to "let" other enjoy them or not. That decision was Netflix.

NAYRT and maybe I'm reading this wrong... but... it's not like Netflix a) stopped making other original content, or b) pulled down everything but Marvel content, so I don't understand the hate?

I mean, I'm not good at paying attention to ads, but does Netflix even advertise (outside of trailers for new original content that I've seen on YouTube)? Are they shoving the Marvel shows in peoples' faces saying, "YOU MUST WATCH THIS, WE DEMAND IT!"

I dunno.

idk ab the rest of the world but netflix germany has regular ads for new shows at train stations, bus stops, huge billboards.
They had banners for Daredevil, the new Sabrina Series, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Stranger Things, 13 Reasons why, and more i cannot remember.

AYRT I choose my words poorly. I didn't meant it in the way that they were preventing other people from watching. And ... still can find the right expression to convey my thoughs. It's like there's a box full of different candies. Some people enjoy the ones with chocolate and other don't. But there're plenty of candies without any chocolate in the box and the chocolate candies don't prevent anyone from eating the none chocolate candies. And one day, all of the chocolate candies are pulled out of the box. Then, someone on the dislike chocolate candies side is rejoicing because they hate them, even if they have plenty of other choices in the box and that now, loving-chocolate-candies-people are deprived of them. That's a shitty attitude to have.
