I've never watched this show, but do remember seeing a lot of secrets about the first girl.

She always looked like a bitch to me.

She's definitely intense. She was also, at the time, very young and anxious and just barely skated by for the first few episodes before coming into her own.

Ruby Tandoh now is an incredible woman. She's extremely outspoken about the complex culture surrounding food and advocates for a healthier, more rounded approach; she even quit a prestigious column at the Guardian because she felt the paper was too elitist. She's also an activist for mental health and LGBT rights.
