I love the version of Bashir that exists in my head

I will say, Bashir would have been a way better character if he was explicitly queer.

It kind of sucks that we'll never get a show with the good old 90s storytelling, but today's openness to diversity. At least it sucks for me, personally, as someone who likes both of those things.
