Lgbt includes dudes. Gay and bi dudes by definition are not women loving women. Do you not see why the a more specific terminology would be useful for certain situations? What is your issue here, I'm kinda lost.

The challenge is finding a term that includes the set of all people who are women and who are attracted to other women, and that includes no one else.

So, LGBT doesn't work for this purpose because it includes many people who are not women attracted to other women. Similarly, "lebian" doesn't work because there are women who are attracted to women but are not lesbians.

If you can find a better term, feel free! But there's a reason people use it.

Because "lesbian" means you're a woman ONLY attracted to women, which by definition excludes bi-women. WLW includes bi-women, just like MLM includes bi-men.
