Onions. I still don't love large pieces of raw onion in things, but if they're cooked then bring 'em on! And even a small amount of finely sliced/chopped raw onion is something I enjoy now. I hated it as a kid. Same with mushrooms.

Yes to beets but only because I found out you can buy them raw and not pre-cooked/pickled which is all I knew them as when I was a kid. They definitely weren't common unprocessed back then. And I still loathe those pre-cooked things but I love them raw or roasted.

I love them any way I can get them. I just think beets are the best thing. I like them raw, picked, in soup, however.

Dill pickles, wearing socks at home (instead of being barefoot), wearing hats (or pretty much anything which covered my head), wearing my hair short, washing my face first thing in the morning...
