That book was the worst trash I ever read.
Dumplin treated her "friends" and love interests like doormats. - Needed someone to drive her around? Make the loser with the kitties on her shirt do it.

Her inner momologues were awful. "Well, I'm fat, but at least I don't have kittens on my shirt/can still wear normal jeans and not have to wear stretch trousers/..."

She is such a self-righteous person, and I don't get how that book is meant to sell body-positivity in any way.
Dumplin is all about "there is always someone fatter and uglier than me".
