Oh, christ, I know! I also don't much care for the smug one (Played the love interest in Dark Angle... Can't remember his name. He was actually kinda ok in Dark angel but plays it to "Punch me in the face I'm so smug"ish in this) but this guy... I kinda feel he's trying to play it as the strong silent type, but really he seems... uninterested and like he can't act.

Come at me NCIS people.

his character's name was logan and i'm rewatching and logan was a sanctimonious dick and can i just say how refreshing it is to see you pointing him out as the one who can't act as opposed to jessica alba? who he was engaged to when he was 32 and she was 19, side note.

My mum watches this all day on Sunday when various channels have a day of it and I have so many issues with the characters and then the more I hear about the backstage crap and the actors the more I hate it. It is a shame because the premise of the show is so good.

I just think it's a shame finding out he's something of an ass, because he complimented my aunt once, back when they were both young and he'd only done like... one or two real things in his career. I don't know if it's that he was always an ass but she happened to have a nice experience working with him or if it's a case of he got famous and became more of an ass, but either way it's just kind of disappointing.

I haven't seen him in anything else, so I can't really separate the character from the actor. But I really hate Gibbs.

I've been getting asshole vibes from him since the 80s. (I have this vague memory of him and Pam Dawber getting in a custody battle with her sister based on what seemed to me to be really sketchy reasons. That said I wasn't in the courtroom and I certainly wasn't in her sister's house to see what was going on. I still get skeeved out by him though.)

Well, Kristen Harmon was actually in drug rehabilitation when they petitioned for custody of her youngest son, Sam, and Sam's psychiatrist testified that the thirteen-year-old boy depicted his mother as a dragon and complained about her mood swings and how she prevented him from being with his siblings. I'm not sure I would call that sketchy. I do find the reason that it was dropped to be weird (his sister made allegations about Pam Dawber using cocaine).

Fair enough, I definitely didn't remember all the details. (I didn't even remember correctly whose sister it was, so...)

I'm totally willing to admit I may be being unfair to Mark Harmon.
