I was thinking something like that.

He's not fantastically left but he does seem to hold the basic ideas of the left. Even his use of a racial slur was an attack on the alt-right, mocking them and their hatred of black people while doing the exact thing the alt right hate the black people for doing. I mean, does the context change anything? I dunno, but you gotta look at the intent.

Right, the context has been largely ignored. But regardless of context, and regardless of whether it was bad or okay (a discussion that bores me endlessly), it was extremely stupid to use the N word in a public forum. It was asking for trouble down the road. Sargon has always been his own worst enemy.

He is. Every time he takes a hit, (barring the Anita "Gabage Human" thing) it has been is own damn fault. He could have seen some backlash coming from this.

That said, even I think patreon being the people who dropped him came out of everyone's left field.
