my roommate watches it on tbs so I've seen most of it, and all I can say is, I don't like the show, I just like Penny and her one-liners. she's honestly a thousand times funnier than any of the main cast.

but you're right, every time they take a positive step forward like promoting women in STEM or advancing real science, they take ten steps backward with the old sexist jokes, gay panic, and dumb stereotypes. oh and tired old sitcom cliche plots, let's not forget those. the show is a dumpster fire but at least Penny and Bernadette are good.
