Re: What recent media disappointed you?

I thought it was a solid horror movie - well above average for sure - but it disappointed me too, if only because people said it was AMAZING, and I though it was just pretty good. Plus, there were a couple of places where I felt like they set up story beats and then didn't hit them. And while I love the idea of starting the movie on this utterly horrifying event and thereby setting the stakes for the audience in such a devastating way, I found it really frustrating to have the movie start with pretty much every character being a little bit stupid in order to bring about the tragedy of the first scene.

Also, in their situation, either don't have sex or at least PULL THE FUCK OUT 100% OF THE TIME, I mean honestly people.
