Does that count as 'editing'?

I always thought 'don't edit while you write' meant don't go back and rewrite sentences, check for grammar, stuff like that, and continue on while the ideas flow. AKA don't sweat the small stuff, you can fix it later.

What you're talking about sounds more like a big story revision that would change the outline of the story itself, which you can't fix later.
