For me it's more difficult to find a podcast I actually like. I get bored if it's just one person or two people that just monotone read a script. I like it with three or four people having a casual discussion where they are not afraid to make jokes. Those ones are the best. I usually prefer listening on long drives. It passes the time faster than anything else.

Of course finding the perfect podcast that fits the criteria and on a topic I'm interested in is REALLY difficult.

May I make some recommendations?

I personally like Oh No Ross and Carrie. It's a podcast with only two people, but they investigate really funny topics while never being mean-spirited: http://ohnopodcast.com/investigations/2017/11/7/ross-and-carrie-traverse-flat-earth-part-1-pizza-shaped-earth-edition

Another good one I like is Totally Reprise, a pretty good goofball podcast covering the silliness to be rediscovered in old episodes of Totally Spies, the horniest children's show to ever existed. http://www.audioentropy.com/totally-reprise/ Warning though, their episodes usually begin with them chewing the fat about current events for maybe 30 minutes and while I personally find them entertaining, it can be confusing at first if you're expecting them to immediately jump into an episode's shenanigans.
