man, it's sad but true. I write fic for and roleplay a couple of smokers and tossing in the descriptions of them needing a cig and smoking (without overly romanticising it) just works so much to give them their cool.

irl I wouldn't be sad if smoking finally became so gauche that the industry collapsed.
