I agree. That's one reason that I love writing historical fiction. Everyone smokes and no one gets to whine about it because it's just what people did in that time period.

I don't really give a good fuck if anyone wants to smoke or not smoke irl. It's best if you don't but I honestly don't care either way. Though that commercial about how evil the tobacco industry was for marketing to the mentally ill made me want to bust some skulls open.
