while I will agree that perhaps you are missing new music via spotify (I've never had an acct myself), I don't think that's the only way. Most of the new music I discover comes from YouTube (which actually has more songs of an artist I started listening to a year or two ago, then spotify does).

It's not from AMVs, but they are suggested from their algorithms.
