Get a job. a full time job with benefits. Get my own place. Those are my two main goals this year.

Keep up last year’s (the first resolution I ever managed to do!) “walk at least 5 miles a day” thing. Fix up my house so I can rent it out, and then rent it for at least close to market rate. Apply for grad school. Avoid sweets/added sugar for a month—doubt I could do a year, but I should be able to last a month. Make at least one non-work friend.

I'm gonna lose some weight.

I'm gonna finally finish writing something I started almost two years ago.

I'm gonna drink less.

I'm gonna see my loved ones more, and have more experiences.

I'm gonna spend less time tethered to my smart phone.

Read 2 books a month, finally finish a working draft of TPatP now that I’ve got one of the more... problematic issues ironed out.

Continue to pay off my debt while not creating new debt. The way I have things set up it should work out.

I should have resolutions to do lots of other stuff like eat better and lose weight but I don't think it would really work. I mean I am going to try to eat better but I'm not going to make a thing about it.

- Finally get the house organized and set up the way I want it and get rid of a ton of crap I don't need/use.

- Do the same thing for my computer (and, to a lesser extent, my phone and tablet). My most frequently used files/documents are kind of scattered all around in different folders and stuff, so I need to go through and organize them all and delete the stuff I don't need that's taking up hard drive space.

- Lose some weight. I don't have a specific goal, and I don't want to get obsessive about it like I have been in the past, just make better food decisions in general and try to get more exercise.

- And this probably sounds weird to a lot of people, but watch more TV. I do a good amount of reading (read 52 books in 2018) but don't watch much TV and there are so many shows that I've heard great things about and want to watch.

Now that I've finally pretty much conquered the 'meal prep for work lunches', I would like to stop eating out so much for dinner. It's preventing any weight loss (I'd just like to lose maybe 10-15lbs) and it's costing me money that I'd like to put towards my debt.

I'm just so exhausted by the time I get home from work though, ugh.

Every day, I want to:
- Leave the house
- Do some exercise
- Take my meds
- Do some study
- Do something creative

I'd really like to lose some weight, but I'm increasingly devoid of hope on that front :/

those sound really good and might i add that even small daily exercise and leaving the house will contribute to even a small weight loss.
so go for it anon. dont lose hope

Set my reading challenge up to 40 this year

go outside more (playing pokemon go with a group helps)

work less (insist on my off-times / less weekend shifts)

get my desk space / book shelves organised
(maybe rearrange dining and living room)

Write actual letters more

Eat more protein, so that all my time at the gym actually makes me stronger. I got stronger for the first six months of working out, and then I plateaued, which has been kind of a bummer.

Buy a couch. I really want a leather one, but idk if I'm up for spending that much.

My New Year's resolution is to ask for people to do more things for me - small things like can you get me something from the kitchen, or can you pick up so and so on your way home - but also to do what similar things asked of me with willingness and enthusiasm.

I just realised I was expending all my energy taking on 90% of home tasks myself, and then getting resentful and snippy when asked to do other small things on top of that. Neither of those things are good and healthy, but they are within my power to change.
