What are your least favorite instances of fanon? Nicknames, habits, whatever those things are that have somehow become common in your fandom with no canon basis?

One nickname that makes me go blech is, "Der" for Derek.

Do things that happen once in canon that then happen ALL the time in fanon count?

If so, Thor's love of poptarts and Stiles calling Derek Sourwolf.

Nicknames where they feel OOC. Tolkien fandom, I'm looking at you. I see non-canon nicknames, at least in that fandom, I'm out. Characters do often already have multiple names and they really don't do nicknames. It just doesn't feel appropriate, and inevitably the fics will be out of character.

Vash the Stampede eats donuts twice in the series. It's fair to say he loves donuts. They aren't all he ever eats. He's not the Cookie Monster. He's just a person who likes donuts. I'm not saying people should never mention it but it's overdone.
