Oddly enough, I used to leave out things about bathroom, like first thing in the morning and brushing teeth and all the stuff, because I sort of thought about it like anon does.

Then my beta was like "okay, but people really do those things. Do you want your reader thinking they're kissing with morning breath?" And no, I do not.

I agree with the beta! I always think it when I read about characters getting kinky when they wake up and there's no mention of morning breath. It doesn't exist in Fantasyland, I suppose.

I don't know, some of us just don't care about it. I kiss my partner before brushing teeth in the morning all the time.

Sure, there are times when one of us has especially bad breath, and so we'll go and take care of it, but most of the time...nah.
