Huh...I don't think I've ever come across that kind of thing in fic, although I have in published fiction.

I read a book recently where it was mentioned that a character really had to pee before a big action sequence (not sure why it was included, other than maybe the author thought it was funny or something, IDK) but then it said (paraphrased) "they went to the bathroom and then met back up with the other characters" and that was it, nothing descriptive or graphic or whatever.

I agree with the other person that I'd probably think the author had a fetish if they constantly went on about it.
