At this point he's done too much to really pin-point one reason, so I'll try and cover the main points.
The man has a tendency to be a complete ass to fans who don't think the same way he does. He's gotten up in front of an audience at a con and said that fans shipping slash couples were the equivalent of ruining someones piece of art or deleting someones writing and has always just been a complete asshole to yaoi fans just because they like yaoi. It's not even a matter of them being rude to him, he makes sweeping generalizations and insults them and is rude to them (he's defaced doujinshii and stuff when people ask him to sign stuff). MORE RECENTLY he got on the bad side of the CLAMP fandom by lying at a con that he had spoken to CLAMP themselves and that they told him Kurogane/Fai was not gonna happen in the manga. He tries to convince people that Edward is omg so secretly christian. He harasses con staff. He crashes other people's panels. He holds church services at conventions and gets upset when the con staff won't let him. He throws out gifts that fans have made him. And his fanclub is batshit fucking insane. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Holy crap. I just knew about the anti-yaoi shenanigans, I didn't know about the other stuff. Church services at cons? Really?

I want to rescue Aaron Dismuke from him. Apparently Vic sits on panels with him since he's all underage and whatnot ~~and has fangirls asking to rape him~~.

Really. Him and Caitlin Glass.

I always wonder what Aaron really thinks of him. Aaron is awesome. Does not need Vic. B|

Who is directing Ouran. *facepalm* Is it just me, or did the entire FMA cast get switched over to Ouran?

I choose to believe Aaron sees him as a big dumb shield against the previously mentioned fangirls asking to rape him.

And playing Haruhi. And doing a terrible job at both. And yeah, a lot of them did. Probably because Caitlin is directing and Mike McFarland is her superior. So a lot of their friends are in it. B|

Yeah, I've heard about (and seen on YouTube) some of the non-yaoi stuff, though I thought it was mostly an objection to Elricest (which is understandable for a few reasons), or other pairings specifically involving Ed.
As far as the church service thing... Even as an atheist I'm not sure that really bothers me, as long as it's separate from his normal panels. The throwing fit OTOH... a con is a private event, and the organizers can tell you what will and won't happen during it, and you kind of have to suck it up...
Edward is secretly Christian?! He has WATCHED the anime, right? Holy Ra, that's just so wrong I... wow. He really says that? Ok... wow.
And lastly: If he's actually against even CANONICAL gay couples... yeah, maybe he should be in another profession. There ware a fair number of canonically gay, lesbian, bi, transgendered, etc, etc... characters in anime, and that ain't gonna change. Hell, that's what got me into it in the first place...

I personally don't care about the church services but I can understand why some people are; it really has no place at a con. Anyone who wants to go to church on Sunday can go to church.
He says that it's because Ed's a kid and doesn't know what to believe, which I can understand, but he's convinced that Ed really does believe in God he just isn't happy with God. Which is wrong.
Gay/lesbian/bi/trangendered have alllllllll happened in CLAMP, too, which makes it all the more ironic that he's trying to argue that there's no gay in Tsubasa.

If he wants to hold a church service, it isn't disturbing anyone and I'm sure the Christians at the con appreciate being able to go to church while on the grounds.

I don't know. I remain steadfastly neutral on Vic because I've never seen any of this shit that he's supposedly done documented outside of anecdote, which is then countered by positive anecdotes.

You're totally entitled to your opinion, but then, isn't he, as well? His interprepation of Ed's spirituality is just as valid as yours.
