Probably partly escapism? F/f is my real life, after all.

But also undoubtedly because there are just fewer fictional female characters that have sexy, exciting dynamics with other female characters compared to guys. The sort of dynamic I'm drawn to is just way more represented in m/m stuff than f/f.
