For me it's because I'm asexual, but I do have a libido... so when I read sex scenes it's a lot easier to enjoy when there are no ladyparts in there (when it comes purely to ships, I do ship m/m, m/f and f/f).

Basically, I like an orgasm as much as the next person (they also help with period cramps), but have no desire to actually have sex at all. I don't want to touch people or have them touch me... but I do masturbate and looking at two dicks is father away from myself aka I enjoy it more.
