I didn't know anything about him or the Legion and I liked him fine at first--I'm a sucker for comedy sidekicks--but then once he started taking over the damn show, it pushed me away completely. Even after he left, Kara's story was still taken up by him. Ugh.

Sounds like he could have been an interesting character. Too bad he was horribly acted. :p

I don't know anything about him in the comics. But on the show, he was a sexist asshole who completely took over the show and bent it to focus on him rather than Kara. Plus, their romance was dumb.

the way he was with Kara (and really everyone, but especially with her) literally triggered panic attacks. my throat would close up and I would be swamped with fear and misery. fuck him and fuck that entire fucking storyline
