The X-Files: Hell Of A Place by giandujakiss - - - The most comprehensive, complex, and hard-hitting XF vid that exists. I love Mulder/Scully vids, but one of the things that's so great about this vid (besides EVERYTHING) is that it isn't a shippy vid. This vid is about the entire story - the conspiracy and the danger and the paranoia and the injustice and the aliens and the monsters and the traumatic shit and the government and Mulder and Scully being the pebbles that fight their way through the hurricane of the story, together.

Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles: DLZ by bop_radar - - - The concepts brought forth and underlined by the editing of this vid kill me every single time. It's so harsh and violent (but also sensitive and thoughtful). And the repetitions of "death professor" and how it changes it's meaning every time...gaahhhhh. It's creepy and sad and poignant and beautiful.

Supernatural: People In Cars Don't Face Each Other by frozensify - - - This vid adds an emotional tenderness and innocence to the SPN story that canon often neglected to reflect on. Underneath all their gruff, battle-hardened masculinity, Sam and Dean were children once, and nothing that happened was fair - but it happened anyway. This vid has literally made me tear up multiple times, and I'm not even a huge SPN fan.

I haven't actually seen the show, but someone recently made a vid for The End Of The Fucking World using Lorde's song Hard Feelings, and I think it's really good.

It made me love the song, and I'll probably watch the show one of these days, almost entirely because of the vid. Also, it has 23 MILLION views, so I'd say that vidder's done alright for themselves.
