Being honest, cyberpunk is a genre I mostly enjoy for the music and the aesthetics. My ideal cyberpunk movie is probably a 15/20 minute long music video more than anything with an actual plot. Bladerunner, as the granddaddy in both those regards, actually does pretty well. The setting and the music alone could carry it.

That said, I did actually enjoy this movie in general as well. I just hated Deckard. Everything to do with Roy and Pris and replicants and revenge against Tyrell and burning bright to the end was brilliant. Everything to do with Deckard and Rachel was ... less so.
