does Pottermore nonsense only get traction when they tweet it or something? so that people can retweet their responses?

It is old news, but it's still funny for them to go out of their way to confirm it and broadcast it.

And Pottermore content is buried and hidden behind a bunch of different gates, so it's harder to access. And even when people tell you that wizards canonically shit themselves, it's generally difficult to believe. You think people must be misinterpreting something unless you can see it for yourself.
