This is me. I only ever read Golden Compass, and it didn't interest me much, but I'll read daemon AUs like no one else. It's a super neat concept.

I loved Golden Compass when I first read it as a kid, but then the second book took way too long to come out, and by the time I finally got it, I had lost interest... :(
