OK. I'd kind of tend to assume that "Switch it up" is probably normal everyday hyperbole, meant to indicate that OP personally wants it switched up, rather than being an actual vocative command. Especially since OP is talking to a mixed audience of secret readers, not specifically to fic writers. But fair enough I guess.
