The Pledge of Allegiance in Spanish. I've not needed to know it in English since I left school, much less Spanish.

You haven't lived in Texas, I see. It gets recited everywhere. Every time I'm in a meeting of any kind, we recite it. It is weird.

I can still sing "O Come All Ye Faithful" in Latin. I don't even celebrate Christmas anymore. But it still may not be the MOST useless thing I remember. I'm not sure what that is.

Poetry. So much fucking poetry.

I have a brain thing where I almost always remember rhyming things after hearing or reading them once. Probably handy if you're a professional musician or something but useless if you're me.

How oxbow lakes form. I lived on a pretty significant river, so that was always part of our earth science curriculum lol. I HAVE NEVER NEEDED THAT INFORMATION.

Uh... nothing. I really couldn't tell you what I learned in school, tbh. Let alone anything that was used enough to be memorized.

If p, then q. Side, angle, side. Sine, cosine, tangent. (Sorry, not a mathematics person!) Do I need this in my everyday life? No, but they said it'd make me a well-rounded person. ;)

SOH CAH TOA

Sine=Opposite/Hypotenuse

CoSine=Adjacent/Hypotenuse

Tangent=Opposite/Adjacent

I can't even remember what the sine is or why I would ever need to work it out, but I know HOW to work it out.

X equals opposite B
Plus or minus square root
B squared minus 4ac
all over 2a!

So basically I will never forget how to write the quadratic formula as long as I live even though I haven't touched it in like twenty years. My math teacher at the time wasn't lying when she said we'd never forget it.

In Primary school we were allowed to choose a few words each week to add to our spelling test. One time I chose the word 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'.

I can also recite the alphabet backwards. That one was a surprise. I just tried one day without ever practising and found I could do it.
