126. Agreed. I can't even watch this show anymore because of the sheer wtf-ery of it all. TW in particular seems to do a really bad job creating believable character interactions.
130. Well, as he's a fictional character, not my BFF or my little brother, I completely agree with this comment. If he were a real person, I'd say, homg Momo don't have sex with the scary killer man, but this is fiction, where we explore different possibilities and storylines. And I find Mohinder/Sylar dynamics incredibly intriguing. There's no good ship or evil ship, just one you prefer. Plus a lot of people are jealous of the huge Mylar fanbase. :/

142. I kinda know what you mean. People think I'm some kind of hermit, but I just can't take constant social interaction. I need many hours of me time to recharge afterwards.
147. I haven't read these yet, but I know the basic plot, and I have to agree. I bet they're great and interesting, but if you want to take a stab at organized religion, take a stab at the organized religions that actually exist. It seems like he could have done this and still kept it in a fantasy world.
167. Do they call you "cafeteria Catholic"? Because that's what they called that at my old Catholic school. x_x But good for you - because it's ridiculous when Catholics read slash and STILL condemn homosexuality.
181. Awww, hey now. I feel the need to remind you of Donna, the temp who was going nowhere, wasn't pretty or bright, and turned out to be the most important woman in the universe. I thought that was one of the most heartbreaking parts of the series - seeing how important Donna was, and how she didn't actually believe it. Sorry, OP, I think you're wrong. I kind of want to give you the hugest hug ever, though, because I know how it feels. :(

(Anonymous) 2008-09-02 02:06 am (UTC)(link)...Jealous? Please tell me you're not serious. There's a big difference between "jealous of" and "hugely annoyed at because it refuses to ever shut up EVER." Overexposure is not a good thing, and Mylar has it in spades.
Of course, that's just me. Maybe there are people who are jealous of the size of the Mylar fanbase, but I've never come across any. Seems like kind of a silly thing to be jealous of, really.

I'm not even a part of the fandom anymore. I don't read fic or visit the Mylar or MattMo forums ever, but I'm still a fan of both ships. The only com I frequent where either of these are mentioned is right here, and the past month I seem to keep seeing secrets by MattMo people taking a jab at the Mylar people. I can't even remember the last time I saw a secret about Mylar that *wasn't* bashing it, although maybe my eyes just slid past it....
I suppose "a lot of people" is probably quite a stretch. I'm sure someone is, lol. But you're right, after thinking about it, I'm a diehard Plaude fan and I don't get jealous that it's like the tiniest following ever, and instead most people seem to ship Peter with his niece or his brother. xD I say jealous because it seems the secrets keep whining about how Matt is so much better for him/hotter/more awesome, and while everyone's entitled to opinion, that also means I'm entitled to mine. It just sounds whiny, I suppose.
