N!S.: I desperately want this show to happen! I want these two on my screen on the regular!

PROS -
1. two original cast members from Roswell tv series 1999-2002
2. same great chemistry now as then
3. a lot of Roswell Easter eggs
4. created, written & produced by the actors portraying the main characters
5. they've indicated intent to provide Roswell nostalgia each episode without directly ripping off from it, including a possibility of cameos from other Roswell original cast
6. built-in Roswell fanbase, B+T fans even already have a special name "Dans"; Brendan was amused by an autocorrect from a fan
7. Baron & Toluca already have a ship name; "Sweetie". B+T, bees make honey, honey + tea is sweet tea/sweetie, may even be said lovingly/sarcastically between them. Nods to their previous ship name on Roswell, too; Michael & Maria aka M&M aka Candy.

S!B.: Most fans squee about how the promo is wonderful and perfect meanwhile

Me: CONS -
1. the long walking intro is boring until "Jake Baron" passes the 285 South sign
2. "Toluca Mendez's" sexual innuendo word fumble is contrived and cringey
3. overemphasis and overtime on the music bit
4. they don't address each other by name! Missed opportunity for character introduction.
5. in the sky behind Jake, while he's arguing with Toluca, the cloud activity is all over the place and it's distracting
6. the insect thing should have been cut, it interupted and distracted from the flow of their interaction
7. insufficient information is given about the premise of the show (FYI: it's supposed to be sci-fi/mystery/dramedy possibly even some action)
8. Netflix was specified as their ideal service to pick up the show, right in the promo, which paints them into a corner against shopping it to any other services, as well.
9. As promos go this one was unpolished and missed the mark in enticing anyone except for people who are already fans of Roswell, "Michael" & "Maria", or Brendan and Majandra
10. It's already been over 2 years since they released the promo and they haven't released anything else.
11. They have said that they are working behind the scenes to get it picked up but haven't specified exactly what they are doing.
12. Although Majandra rarely interacts with us, Brendan keeps telling the "Dans" to continue to harass Netflix on social media to pick B+T up. We've been doing that; some since the day it came out, but it's not working. Netflix still isn't biting, all this time later. See point 9 for the likeliest why of that. :/

B!S.: I wonder if another reason why might be that one or the other, or else both of them, are not well liked in the entertainment industry by the people who could make this happen for them?

Because I was gobsmacked by how fast the Roswell reboot went from rumor to already premiering January 2019, even though no fans from the original show wanted it (we wanted an epilogue movie or special mini-series, or a continuation "where are they now?" sequel series with the original cast), as opposed to so many of us being very vocal/twittery about wanting B+T from the moment that we saw the promo.

I'd understand if B.F. & M.D. weren't well liked; they're both kind of off-putting on social media (but great in interviews, imo).

All that said, I still want the show. I still enjoy them onscreen together.

TL;DR - Brendan Fehr and Majandra Delfino dangled a beautiful project in front of me and I'm butthurt that they seem to be the two biggest reasons why it isn't happening yet and might not happen ever. + I'm promoting/complaining in one fell swoop. I'm a loyal but disappointed "Dan".
