Isekai is a type of story about a person being transported to another world and having to live there. It's a very popular premise for light novels these days, and it almost always so happens that the main character meets a variety of attractive girls in this new world who all want to fuck him and that's what the story's really about. It can get weird depending on what the other world is like, and usually it'll have wacky otherworldly magic or societal norms that factor into the girls' attempts to fuck the MC. I don't know the vending machine series, but I'm sure even that would not be immune to this premise.

If they want to fuck the vending machine, that's just hilarious.

Wouldn't that be isekai + harem?

For a funny one that isn't a harem manga (although one of the characters sort of has a harem), check out Chihou Kishi Hans no Junan. But I think it's making fun of the others.

More like isekai is basically a subgenre of harem at this point.

The Wizard of Oz is my favorite harem.
