Re: Why you lying

A lady called the retail place where I work and said she wanted to return the clothes she'd bought for her son because he wore them out to play and they got dirty and she couldn't get the stains out. I explained we can't take a return for that reason, the store isn't responsible for your child getting clothes dirty. She asked what we could return clothes for and I said if there was a defect like they were ripped. She said 'I understand' and hung up, a half an hour later a lady showed up wanting return dirty clothes saying she found a rip in the sleeve and so we had to take them back. I called my manager, my manager said we did not have to take them back because they were obviously worn and the lady started ranting about how we sold her ripped clothes.
