Steam Game Recs

Rather than making a whole new thread! I downloaded steam literally just to play Stardew Valley, but I am sure there's a bunch of fun other stuff, so does anyone have any recs? I'd prefer stuff along the same vein as SV, or things like Myst, etc. Nothing super actiony like shooter games or anything, I'm terrible enough at them on my PS3, let alone a keyboard, lol.

Free would be great, but if they're worth their cost (ie lots of hours of gameplay/multiple possible runthroughs etc) that's cool too!

Always wait for sales, never buy anything at full price;;
I want so hard to say Harvest Moon, since SV is basically a replica of it (IMO), but I'm fairly sure Steam doesn't have their best/actual games available;; (I do rec it though 1000%)

Otherwise I'd look in the realm of tycoon games? If there isn't a free demo, they're usually pretty cheap by bundle price. I'm honestly drawing a blank on what to recommend though;;

Personally, I've grown quite fond of "My time at Portia". It's a bit similar to SV, only with 3D graphics instead of 2D and with building stuff instead of farming. I think it will be leaving Beta phase in a few days, so no idea if the current price will change after that.

I just remembered: It actually has a free demo you can download on the game's Steam page as well! So you can just test it out for free and see how you like it. The demo save isn't compatible with the full version though, so you'd have to start over but it's really useful.
