Yeah, I'm sad to see it end, too. I feel bad for the newer cast members, because I feel like there's a lot more about their characters that could still be explored and it's a shame we won't get that. And yes, I will definitely miss seeing them every week in general. You're right about them feeling like family.

I honestly don't know if i could've seen the show making it up to 20 seasons, just 'cause it's a very rare show that manages to make it to that particular number. But given the type of show it is, who knows. I am glad, at least, that they're getting the chance for a proper goodbye and that the cast and crew got the heads up early enough so they can plan it all out the way they want. I am very curious to see what they'll do for the final season :).

Is that Rossi? Holy, I honestly thought it was the 12th Doctor...;;
I mean, I know I haven't watched CM in a while, but hell he got real old real quick.

I think the actor stopped dyeing his hair. Only explanation for how fast it went white.

He was 59 when he joined Criminal Minds.

And now he's 71.

Damn... It doesn't feel like it's been that long but I guess it has!

Honestly I would much rather a show end while it's still fun and good and interesting than stretch things out until it becomes a sad, shambling zombie of what it once was. I've had too many shows I loved meet that fate so I can't say I feel all that terrible that CM decided to wrap things up before it went down that path.

No! I hadn't heard that news. Can they do a spin-off where they aren't at work but they just all hang out and spend time together - decompressing? This is very disappointing news. Theses characters ... I'm going to miss them a lot.

It's weird because I started watching the show when it premiered because I liked the premise; I like this format. I never expected to feel so fond of the team members involved in solving the cases.

Worst era for me was no Prentiss and no JJ. Best era for me was Derek Morgan as part of the team but I do love the current team, too.

I really hope they give us lots of after work hours stuff to enjoy, to wrap up the series.

I started watching because I used to be super into profiling. Read all the books by the real life FBI guys. Not so in love with it anymore, but it doesn't matter, because CM is about the amazing characters.

wow i never would have guessed that people watched criminal minds as a fun nothingy show. i had to stop watching it years ago because it was making me too anxious about home invasions and torture.

I hadn't heard that :(
Man, CM definitely had its highs and lows, but it's definitely a decent, entertaining show. It's one of those shows that feel like the tv show version of comfort food; I always watched it when I couldn't sleep or I needed something familiar. I'm definitely going to miss all of the characters :(
