Thanks for sharing this!
That is all very true. I like the idea of having them talk about the future. I think that is the more natural progression than showing them rushing into getting engaged. There are some smaller things relating to the existing plot that I can see as being part of that too. I was thinking too generally about romance, but it's a really good idea to think about the characters and what they're thinking about.
