God, this shitty ship involving two dudes who barely have anything to do with each other had no right being so astronomically popular. Still galls me that it beat out actual well written gay ships (that, y'know, have something going for them and aren't just fujoshits wearing their yaoi goggles so tight that their eyes burst) like Victor/Yuri on fan polls and Tumblr's stats.
