Disabled and handicapped people make me nervous.

I'm sorry if that makes me prejudiced. I don't hate them, they make me uncomfortable because I don't know how to act around them, so I avoid contact with them. I am fortunate in the fact that there is no one in my extended family who is handicapped so there is no need for me to force the issue.

I at least don't force myself into a situation that makes both myself and the other person uncomfortable under some misguided sense of pathos. I applaud the fact that you can work with such people and make their lives better. That is not for everyone.

i can fully understand how it would make one feel uncomfortable, but the way your secret is worded is EXTREMELY rude and offensive. especially using the word 'retard'. think before you type next time, especially with such a sensitive subject matter.

The wording of the secret is inflamatory and I don't agree with that - your comment felt like a personal attack on the fact that I agreed with the message itself. One can agree with the sentiment behind the wording without agreeing to the wording itself, if that makes sense.

I'm really sincerely hoping it is a troll, but the people agreeing with it or even laughing at it make me want to punch someone. Preferably them. The secret is so hatefully worded and just a sucker punch to some of humans' better natures, I don't know how anyone can look at it and the comments and not be outraged.
