I don't have recurring dreams/nightmares themselves, I have recurring places. Different things happen there, but they're always the same places. I have one I've been going to a lot recently, and I don't know why: it's a coastline with an incredibly steep shelf, because the waves in the surf are colossal and that's just where they scoop up to when they crash in. Sometimes I have nice dreams here, sometimes they're bad. It's really weird.

I have this too except in my case it's always old, rambling houses with lots of rooms and hallways and usually secret doors and passages. They're not generally exactly alike (though they often incorporate parts of my grandparents' ~100 yr old house) and I always end up having to climb around in them for some reason or another.
