NAYRT—not really? Idk, I think of joy as rarer, more intense, and maybe less, idk, material than happiness? Like, I’d be happy that my favorite author has a new book out, or that I found a perfect pair of comfy shoes that fit perfectly, but I’d be joyous if a cure was found for a rare deadly disease my best friend had been infected by. Happiness is finding $20 on the ground and joy is marrying the love of your life.
