(Anonymous) 2019-01-21 05:19 am (UTC)(link)I know taking kitchen appliances with you when you sell your housr is not uncommon in some parts of the US, though not where I've lived, but even that still seems nuts as American kitchens tend to be made so that the major appliances and cabinets/counters fit close together. Your stove might be too big for the stove-space in your new house, so you either have to leave it (but what if the buyers want to bring their own stove?) or partially re-do the kitchen, or else it might be too small and look weird. Refrigerators are a real doozy because they vary so much in size.
