While I completely agree with you, re: Kyle Chandler, if he hadn't been killed off in Grey's, that means he wouldn't have been available for Friday Night Lights. And I don't know about you, but I don't want to live in a world where Coach Taylor never existed. (Or worse, was played by a lesser actor; as much as I also love Connie Britton, the entire Coach/Mrs. Coach dynamic wouldn't have nearly as magical as it was.)

Well, I was actually thinking that if they hadn't killed him off, he and Meredith could have had a short torrid thing or maybe even just a weird flirtation and then they could have had all the Derek/Meredith stuff, and he could have come back after Derek. Really, now would be a good time for that.
