a pair of shoes I ordered (they're black and red and zomg they have dragon wings) are going to be ready sometime next week and I can't waaaaaait. What're you all currently psyched about?

Oscar nominations tomorrow morning! Even if they may be boring.

Can't look forward to the Oscars unfortunately, as I'm too busy bracing myself for Green Book to win Best Picture.

I just admit that BP is a lost cause unless they really get wild and ride on that "Let's appeal to the common folk!" train and nominate a bunch of popular stuff.

Me too! I always enjoy seeing what films and actors are nominated, as well as the endless "who got snubbed" variations. Good times!

How to Train Your Dragon 3. I have a ticket for an early showing on February 2. A lot of other movies, but that's the one that comes out next.

My mom made my favorite chicken and broccoli casserole for dinner. Kind of excited about that. I've missed my mom's cooking.

Picking up some clothes from Torrid tomorrow and also stopping at the Apple store to pick up some headphones. I've been using cheep ones, and I don't like the way they sound.

Are you getting wired headphones or earpods.

Just normal wired ones. Earpods scare me. Not brave enough to try them. Well, mostly not brave enough to spend money on them. But the normal wired headphones from Apple just sound better than the cheep 10% ones.

I didn't realize HTTYD3 was so close to coming out! I love those movies.

Ditto HTTYD3. Can't go see it until February 8 or 9th though, I'll have to mind the spoilers...

Spring. I'm over the excitement of snow and ice and just looking forward to planting things in the garden.

Ditto, except for the planting things. My house is frigid, the furnace can't keep up, and my electric bills are sky high.

Me, too. I started some strawberry seeds indoors that I’m eager to put outside.

On the one hand, yes. ...on the other, I have to cut down some boards to shore up my poor, decaying raised bed.

Avengers 4. Because I'm taking the train up to my bff's house (never done that before), then we're seeing the movie, then riding the train back to here, then going to a huge organic seed festival/fair, and seeing the movie again, and hanging out for a three-day weekend and it's going to be *so fun*.

Ordered another set of custom shelves from the lady who made my other three. Can't wait for her to get them done.

Excited for my boss to be out of town for a couple days. Going to bring my sister's switch to work for us to play.

I can hopefully get my friggin' birth certificate figured out by the end of the week.

Also Mortal Kombat 11, Resident Evil 2 remake and the Panzer Dragoon 1/2 remakes.

I bought myself a diamond ring. It'll be here tomorrow. I'm getting my nails done tomorrow too.

Long term, I'm looking forward to the next Star Wars movie.

I'm ace, and extremely unlikely to ever marry, and I've been thinking about getting myself a diamond ring for years now. As is, I currently wear my mom's wedding ring, since she and my dad split up before I was even born and she gave it to me on my 30th.

Do you want to tell me about your ring, anon? I'd be interested, if you wanted to, you know, brag a little. :P

Short term: I allow myself a day off work every 3 months, and based on my schedule the most logical day to do it is tomorrow, so tomorrow it shall be.

Long term: Avengers 4. Other updates to ongoing media. Warmer weather.
