I liked her a lot in Valerian. Though I admit that might be damning praise.
She certainly fit her role better than Dehaan.

i'd say that most of the acting in valerian sucked (and most of the plot) but it's the sort of movie where if you go in expecting oscar worthy performances (and writing) then you're Doing It Wrong (tm)

IA in general, but I think Dane DeHaan still fell below even the lowered popcorn-movie bar.

So did Rihanna but I don't think it was really her fault.

Ehh I think people (me included) had high expectations, fairly, considering it was by the director of The Fifth Element and Leon. And he's a huge fan of the comic- it was his inspiration for The Fifth Element IIRC.
