I think it is, yes, and yes - you get points for zingers and quipy lines, not actual good questions and shutting the hell up so the person can reply.

And I don't think people really want to pay attention to interviews anyway. The money is in getting people to say something controversial or headline-worthy.

Hrmm....i suppose. I do like a good interview, though. I really enjoyed that series 'Inside the Actors Studio', those were really good.

And Charlie Rose! It's so exciting when someone you're a fan of goes on Charlie Rose.

YES! He was/is an excellent interviewer.

I'm glad someone mentioned him! I always had wanted to be interviewed by him if I ever did anything that would gain me recognition. He had a way of interviewing all sorts of people that brought out their knowledge, passion, or made them interesting. To me at least.

I think the best interviewers are those who've had experience interviewing a variety of people, like politicians and whatnot, rather than just Hollywood celebrities. Like, you didn't interview Gorbachev for a funny sound bite, so maybe by now you know how to do a decent job with Jennifer Lawrence.

I just want to see my faves tbh I could care less who or what they're talking about.

Sort of.
