No, Tamaran is Starfires home planet.

Uh. I already knew her name but not her planet's so... she's Coriander from Planet Tamarind? Is everything named there after spices like a Dragon Ball Z knockoff or something or is it just one coincidence?

No idea, but I do know that Starfire was a Teen Titan back in the early 80s, so I doubt she was ripping off DBZ. I guess food people puns just aren’t that original.

My bad, I thought Teen Titans was more recent and original DBZ older than that. (Still, I'd laugh my ass off at a planet where everything and everyone is named after herbs.)

I think the planet is Tamaran (or Tameran?), not Tamarind.

What do I know? the anon above spelled it "tamarand" with a -d at the end, so... not my fault my mind jumped to a bad pun if they misspelled it.
