Well, they did have nice chemistry and I honestly didn't mind the little moments because they were really close in real life and it was a nice hint at what people always associate with the Borgia... but the thing is, their enemies made up that rumor. Not just between them, but mostly about Lucrezia and her *father* (who was supposed to be the father of her baby) buuuuuuut I guess that's not ~sexy enough for tv/movie/video games, so we conviniently left that out. I honestly wouldn't have been as mad if they had left it in, cause at least they'd have been consistent. Like this it was just for the ~forbidden sexiness I guess.
There was most likely as much incest as Anne Boleyn was an evil witch.
(Obviously doesn't mean that they were decent people or anything. There was enough manipulation and murder to fill several tv shows!)

Ayrt - I knew that the incest was made up irl - just based one what I saw on my tumblr dash I thought the show just ignored that and was a raunchy incest show. (Which I guess it did do but i thought that was like, what it was going for from the beginning)
