There's just not enough tears surrounding S76 being gay as it was to Tracer's 2 years ago. I need more people crying over their suddenly incompatible orientation to their fictional husbandos/waifus.

ngl, I was a little broke up about it, but then I realized:

1) I rotate him with Reaper/Reyes
2) I rotate him with McCree
3) I have fic (the type which disregards his orientation in favor of an OFC/female self insert -- which is how I've been enjoying them th is whole time so...)

So tears not really required.

Yeah, in the end people still gonna ship him with whomever people ship him with! It's all fun and fine by me! (I mean, I ship him HARD with Reyes too and the novel also kinda broke me up? But hey, at least now it can be half-canon)

this seems like its directed at someone specific? If so you need to give us more, because most of us don't follow Overwatch fandom closely enough to recognize someone's random OC

second and more generally, is he canon gay or does he just shown having a canon interest in men because if so being bi or pan is a thing and whoever they are with the OC is probably going to be fine.

Not OP, but he used to date a guy before breaking up with him and the writer later confirmed him (and his ex) as gay.
