Italians can be really dark - one of my friends is Sicilian and people constantly assume she's Hispanic because she's so brown. Ariana definitely tans but I can believe that her natural skin color is to the darker side.

I used to watch her on Victorious and she definitely has kind of warm/golden undertones, but she used to be a lot paler. That said I don’t think I would call her actual current skin tone black/brown face, in candids it just looks like a fake tan. I personally think it is more in how her photos tend to be edited. Which is still a decision worthy of criticism but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ariana’s skin color is not naturally on the darker side tho
