I don't believe in God. I think that belief is important to me and shapes my beliefs in a lot of over things. I was raised Catholic and had mostly positive experiences with it, and still have a lot of affection for the religion (as opposed to the church hierarchy), but at a certain point I realized that I just didn't agree about the whole existence of God bit, which is fairly fundamental.

I don't object to people who do believe in God, I respect their beliefs and I respect a lot of religious people, but for myself I believe that they are certainly wrong. I think it's interesting to talk about in hypothetical terms but there's not much percentage in trying to get into serious conversations or proselytize or convince people to change their minds or anything like that, no one's mind will ever change, it's deeply personal.
